FULLY IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION
A transcendent, inspirational, audio-visual experience designed to immerse the audience through surrounding image and sound.
Artists in Motion created a month-long ticketed multi-sensory immersive experience to celebrate the incredible life story of Master Venerable Hsing Yun, founder of Fo Guang Shan, one of the world’s largest Buddhist organisations.
In downtown Melbourne, the audience were taken on a 20-minute journey of a boy born into poverty and oppression, who through indomitable spirit, fortifies his faith and strengthens his resolve to spread the teaching of the Buddha.
After the 20-minute show, patrons were able to view an exhibition of the Master’s beautiful and arresting calligraphy works that are spiritually enriching and filled with meaning.
AIM worked under the guidance and tutorage of Head Abbess Venerable Man Ko, Head Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temples across Australia and New Zealand. It is thanks to Abbess Man Ko and her wonderful team that AIM was able to ensure that our visual representations of the Master were as accurate as possible.
AIM is proud to have produced and delivered a truly sensory piece of work which was designed to immerse the audience in the Master's world through surrounding image and sound - as well as exhibiting some of these famous calligraphy works.
The journey of Venerable Master Hsing Yun is a statement piece meant to inspire, just as his life's work continues to do.
A fully photo-real representation of the installation and its surrounding environment allowed designers and client to preview the show from any viewing angle in real-time. Once completed the software delivered control signals directly to the fountain for instant onsite adjustment.
